SilentStar X NightSlayer Cross by ~Hypothisos:iconHypothisos:

"HISU! What in all that is wrongs' name are you doing!" Kura proclaimed, slightly hysterical, but her worrisome voice was overshadowed by her  authoritive tone demanding the need to know why  her male companion was suddenly being surrounded by a mystic copper coloured glow. She could feel the bines of strong magic at work, but Hisu knew naught of how to harness this amount of strong sorcery yet, but her senses were never wrong and she could plainly identify the aura of the magic radiating from Hisu's body.

A fearful gasp from the usually immaculate, teenage Asian boy, as parts of his flawless skin started to break off in large clumps. An illuminated shining black glow was followed where the blood he was meant to shed, should have been.

"I don't know! I just started flashing and now, now, it's.... God I don't know! It's like I'm about to jump forward in time but... That can't be it! I mean, I have to help the star before I start to jump, so I can't be going forward since you still so clearly need my help!"

Kura did nothing but narrow her burning green eyes at her companion. Her displeasure evident as her light titian hair lightly took on an obscure, sable gleam and her irises started to fray crimson.

Nearing a transformation, she silently willed control before her wings would break from their muscled, skin tight prison.

"I will debate with you on whom needs whom's help later on. Right now, however, you need to take a deep breath and control yourself before your unbalanced first nature kicks in."

To help the young man through his, what only could be a malfunction in his central magic stream, Kura linked her hand with his in a comforting way.

Startled at the contact Kura had willingly gave him, Hisu locked eyes with her. Seeing her approving gaze she then made a point of taking a deep breath, guiding Hisu through his magical breakdown.

Following suit, Hisu did the same. The motion had an immediate effect on the male counterpart.

Both relieved that nothing had happened, (Hisu making a point to show his relief with an obnoxious, melodramatic 'phew') Kura hesitated when the jarred and haggard parts of Hisu's skin weren't regenerating as they should have after such a mystical conundrum. But all thoughts were pushed out from her mind when an unexpected noise from the front door made the couple jump.

A split second later, had Yuki burst through the door with a very smug grin on her face, followed by a timid Yuka who made a point of not looking in the direction of anyone. Kura assumed Yuki had gotten the better of her younger sibling somehow and the young teenage girl was too embarrassed to lock eyes with her grandmothers' in hopes of avoiding the topic.

Taking the hint, Kura released her hand from Hisu's, ignoring the small twitch her fingers seemed to do with the loss of Hisu's hand, she made her way over to comfort her younger granddaughter.

"So what did you two do?" she asked placing a comforting hand on Yuka's shoulder. The action was regarded with a warm, adoring smile.

"Oh! You will not believe what we did! We went to go see our mum and dad!" Yuki exclaimed happily.

In an instant, the air became stagnant and thick.

"What?" Kura growled. Yuka flinched violently and Yuki's smile fell. Hisu stayed quiet, but had his own disapproving glare pointed at the twins.

Yuka seemed to come out of her fearful state before her older sister did and started to explain, but a sharp glare cut her off. Obediently, she lowered her head and took a step back.

"You both know my rules when it comes to time travel," she paused to look at her granddaughters before continuing, "You're not supposed to leave until your training is complete. I was lenient the last time because it was a life or death situation, but must I remind you both of what happened when you first came here?"

A quick shake of the head by both of the younger girls assured her that no explanation would be needed.

"Good. Now why did you visit you're mother and father? Was it an urgent situation, or did you merely wish to visit?"

"Well... It wasn't urgent, but we remembered that this was around the time when we were six that we met ourselves... Only... Older. So... We just had to go, I swear!" Yuki tried to appease.

Kura could see she was telling the partial truth. A habit she picked up while in Germany when she looked after her cousins. Although Hisu seemed to take explanation, a raised eyebrow from Kura got the teen talking again.

"And... We jumped a little into the future to see mum again..." Yuki offered, her eyes drifting to the floor. "I take full blame by the way." She mumbled, continuing. "I just haven't seen her in a while and it's not like we can just pick up the phone and talk to her." Her voice started to get a bit of an edge to it, "Plus, you haven't had her yet, so we can't even talk too little mum!" Yuki growled, "So what if I miss her! You miss your mother, but at least you can at least visit her without having to sign a thousand and one forms just so you can go back to your original time frame!"

"Yuki" Yuka reprehended.  Yuki visually deflated. Satisfied that Yuki wasn't about to have a hissy fit, Kura slowly started to speak, "I understand your need to see your mother. But in the future please see me first. Then, and only then, will I be more understanding. Don't go off at me, if you didn't even bother to come warn me first. Hisu almost had a temporal time shift a few moments before you came and if we hadn't been able to stop it, we could have made a close space time where two separate entities we're at separate time frames, so you two wouldn't have a place to come back too and would disappear forever! I'd much rather it if you could keep yourselves out of harms way. I already have enough to deal with."

"Okay" they mumbled in unison.

Kura nodded in approval before stalking out of the small lounge room, towards the kitchen. Hisu being the more sensitive one to the younger girls of their small team gave a sympathetic look before reiterating at what Kura had told them in more simplistic ways. Despite being from the beginning of the industrial revolution, Hisu had a better grasp on the times slang and less formal way of talking that Kura seemed too.

As the twins retreated to their shared bedroom, Kura returned back from the kitchen with a block of chocolate hanging from her lips and a bowl of double-choc-chip ice cream in her right hand, (complete with whipped cream, chocolate fudge sauce and a spoon) Kura made a point of thanking Hisu with her freehand, smiling one of her rare sincere smiles.

The gesture return was not one either of them expected.

Insted of Hisu's bright adoring smiles, at a speed that rivalled that of light speed, the copper light surrounded Hisu. The rest of his skin evaporated only a moment after. The glow extended through Kura's body as well since she hadn't had time to remove her hand and both were soon consumed into the dark luminescence and copper mist.

A sharp gasp from Hisu and a pair of wide eyes on each of their faces was all that happened before they completely disappeared.

Chapter One: Hisu's Breakdown.

--

:dohtwo: I am not very happy with this Particular story. :X but Nadinish >>:iconlonleystar: wanted me to post so she could get an general idea of where it's going.

I don't like this chapter very much. infact, i hate it with a passion. i'll take it down and edit it, properly when Nadinbie has read it.

Message To Nadinebie: I Needs to Know more about the Night Slayer Universe, i know gerneral stories and character (plus their relationships, DxK Forever ^^) but i want to do something easy and local, like that government thingy you were talking about. lets focus on that.

OK! to understand this chapter, Kura is kinda like... a half demon, she belongs to a family know as the Tomoshibi family and have been around since the beinging of timme, only as the most powerful species of that time period. the arival of humans gained them their place know. they are super human. they have powers but need something to channel it through. the family is large and is centered all around the worl. despite Kura's age, she is pretty much head of the family and in doing so, inderectly rules the world. (kura is based of myself) kura is 16. (the whole grandma thing is a spoiler.)

Hisu is a time traveler who can only move forward in time, even then he can't control his power because of a curse placed on him by a way-ward lover he left in a ditch somewhere in the late 18th century london. she was a tomoshibi, so he has to look after each tomoshibi heiress he comes across before he is able to move forward. he's aladies man, and pretty aragont, egotistic and generally love-mad.

Yuka/Yuki: these are the twins. the twins are kura's grand daughters from the future. they can time travel due to the reseivve gene, niether their mother nor their father have any magic and/or powers. they are both 15 and in public are known as kura's younger cousins. (they'll only be in this chapter, possibly in the last one as well.)

^^; well, what do ya think before i take it down?

its nice to read something original from you. you should make Silent Star a novel too.
you shouldnt hate you perfectionsist~!
I loved it.

Now about my universe. A local problem could be, I guess, the fact that teh government are shipping out a lot of teenagers to fight in America [the zombie land thingy] also people have been mysteriously dissappearing Key: Twilight Zone music!

Anyway its actualyl becasue of a fucked up experiment thingy the government is doing. there isnt a specific bad guy. think matrix bad guys in suits with the same face type deal.

and yay! DxK forever!

KxH forever too. yay for kura!
